Bobby Lee Cutts Jr. is a former Canton police officer who gained national attention in 2007 when he was arrested and charged with the murder of his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Jessie Davis, and their unborn child. Cutts was convicted of the murders in 2008 and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
During the investigation and subsequent trial, it was revealed that Cutts was married and had multiple affairs with other women while dating Davis. He was also accused of criminal behavior and abuse by several of the women with whom he had relationships.
The case received significant media coverage and sparked national conversation about domestic violence and the dangers associated with dating violence. Cutts remains incarcerated in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
